About Muhammad Firdaus Osman

My name is Muhammad Firdaus Bin Osman, a singer-songwriter and a street musician from Singapore. I am better known as Fyrdauz Macbeth, my stage name and I busk to make the world a better place.
My musical journey started when I wanted to explore being a solo performer. I used to be in a Hip-Hop Dance club and an Acapella club back in my polytechnic and it made me curious about performing as a soloist.
I graduated from Ngee Ann Polytechnic with a Diploma in Electrical Engineering in 2014 and from Singapore Institute of Technology/Newcastle University with a Degree in Electrical Power Engineering in 2018.
I am currently pursuing a Masters in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the Singapore Institute of Technology while practicing the profession.
I am also the Secretary of the Busker's Association (Singapore), a society created by my friends and I, to be the voice of buskers and support the busking community in Singapore. The Buskers' Association (Singapore) is also supported by Singapore's Member of Parliament for Nee Soon GRC; Mr Louis Ng, where we plan events and work together to make busking a better experience in Singapore.
A couple of my musical heroes are Richard Marx, Ed Sheeran, Bryan Adams, Coldplay, and Lionel Richie. I play oldies, RnB, pop hits, soul, folk music.
I have been performing on the streets of Singapore with my acoustic guitar since 2016 as a solo act and had opportunities to perform at bigger venues.
